Shawnee Smith (5' 3") is a American TV and film actress. Smith may be most well-known for her role as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series as well as Linda Becker in CBS's sitcom Becker. Smith was the former lead singer of Fydolla which was a rock group that toured America and Britain. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle a country rock band with Missi Pyle. Her parents are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an former pilot in the US Air Force, a financial planner and oncology specialist. Family members moved out of South Carolina to Van Nuys California at the age of one year old. Her parents divorced when she was two and her mother remarried when she was 8. That same year, she also starred in her own tour, What Do I Want to Do With My Life now? that included a one-week residency in the venue Just For Laughs.
